Friday 19th May 2023

Hello and happy Friday,

 

We’ve had a lovely week in the sun. We’ve explored mini-beasts, played in the water, climbed trees and so much more.

 

In English, we wrote messages to Anna from our class text. In Maths, we have been ordering the numbers 1-10 and playing some number track games.

In RE, we learnt about the story of Rama and Sita and made our own bridges.

We learnt all about Africa and learnt a new song.

 

In RWI, we have split into our RWI groups and practicing lots of independent writing.

Thank you for attending Parents evening, it was lovely to speak to you all.

 

Wednesday – Beach day at school. Please bring in shorts and t shirts for water play and a towel. Plus shoes you don’t mind getting wet.

Thursday-PE, please come to school in PE Kit ( Plain black top and bottoms)

Blazers should be worn with maroon summer dresses and if warm they do not need their cardigans.

Can all Home-work be sent in for Wednesday, so we can mark it and be ready for next terms homework.

Hello and happy Friday,

 

This week, we have continued our story and wrote about how Anna could make friends at the beach.

 

In Maths, we have explored how to make 10.  We have been practicing writing our numbers.

 

In RE, we explored the story of The thirsty Camel.

 

Lots of great independent learning, and lots of fun in the rain and the sun.

The weather is very un-predictable, please can a coat be brought to  school everyday.

Please can all children have a change of uniform ( trousers, socks and underwear ) on their peg.

Blazers should be worn to school over summer uniform. (Jumpers are optional if its warm)

 

Home-learning has been set.

Hello and happy Friday,

 

We have had a fun packed week, which has been lots of learning about the coronation. We learnt how to sign the national anthem and also made flags and crowns.

In English, we wrote our own poems about  the sea.

 

In Maths, we have been exploring the different ways to make 5 and   being able to record these in a number sentence and a part-part whole.

In RE, we have been learning about stories from different faiths, today we learnt about The Tiny Ant.

Please do sign when your child has read.

Home-learning has been set- please spend time on Numbots.

Bank holiday Monday – No school

Thursday – please wear PE kit to school – this should be plain black bottoms and top with trainers- No Laces please.
