Happy Friday,

 

This week we have been busy with practicing for the nativity next week. We have enjoyed playing in our role play area, decorating with the loose parts and making Christmas decorations.

 

In Math’s we have continued to focus on composition and looking at the different ways we can make 5, for example saying “3 and 1 makes 4”

 

We have also been exploring the real life animals and seeing if we can match and name the baby animals. Some of us did not know a baby horse was called a foal.

Please complete 1 or 2 challenges from the Christmas sheet. Christmas home Learning.

Please upload anything onto Google Classroom.

On Google Classroom we have uploaded some resources to help with the ‘special friends’.

 

please can we have all costumes in by Monday!!!

They can wear Christmas jumpers everyday next week excluding Wednesday.

Monday: Christmas Nativity 2pm

Tuesday: Christmas Nativity 9:30am

Wednesday:  Christmas Dinner day.  Pantomime – leave at 2pm arrive back to school by 5pm. Full uniform please.

Thursday:

Friday: Last Day of term – finish at 3:15.

For the Nativity Sapphire class will be dressing as innkeepers.

If possible, for their costume, can they please bring in a tea towel and band for the headdress and dark plain clothing in a named plastic bag at some point this week.

Hello and happy Friday,

What a fun and exciting week we have had. We have talked about Advent and decorated Sapphire Class with our own Christmas Tree. We have been busy making decorations and Christmas cards.

We have continued to look at the animals in our story, and will be learning about the baby animal names.

In RE, we have continues to explore the Christmas story and today we made mince pies.

Tuesday:  Circle of Light Festival 9:30 am – If you are able to bring in a new toy for the Salvation Army.

Thursday: Show and share 8:30-9:00am.

Please can we have Books bags in school daily; we have a reading volunteer so more chances to listen to them read. Please try and read or do sounds daily.
