Happy Friday and Happy half term.

 

This week, we have made our own Owl Books using facts we have learnt about facts.  We made some great efforts of using the sounds we can hear in our words.

In Maths, we have continued to explore 1,2,3 and introduced 4. We looked at the shapes squares and rectangles as well as playing some number games.

In RE, we recapped the creation story and talked about how God created the animals. We then went on and learnt a minibeast song.

 

Here is a snippet of our free choice learning this week: we’ve had  lots of fun.

Please practice writing your name.

Number Matching 1-3 sheet. or go on a number  hunt focusing on numbers 1-4. This can be uploaded to Google Classroom.

Folders have been sent home with the Math’s work.

Can you go on a nature hunt? Maybe you may find some pine cones, acorns or conkers. Please bring anything to add to our autumn display.

Hello and happy Friday,

This week we have been continuing with our work on ‘Owl Babies’ and this week. We have used puppets to re-tell the story.  Can they tell you the story?

In Maths, we have been looking at three and what makes three. This has also included making a colour pattern using three different colours.

We started to look into the animals that hibernate and the change in the seasons. In RE we looked at how God is special to Christians and how our names are special too. We enjoyed painting our own names.

 

 

 

 

We have enjoyed playing and exploring outdoors but can we please ask that to protect clothing ALL children to have a puddlesuit / 2 peice waterproofs and wellies.

Tuesday: Please come into school wearing PE Kit with school jumper/cardigan.

This week we have continued our text on Owl Babies. Some of us did some great writing when writing a letter to Mummy Owl.

 

In Maths, we have continued our work on composition and focusing on how to count accurately.

Today we competed in a rugby inter-house competition. Well done to all involved.

This week, we have continued looking at Owl babies and thinking about what the owls would be thinking.

In maths, we have been looking at subutising to 3 ( recognising a quantity without counting)

In RWI, we have added c,k,u,b,f to our collection. In word time we have been looking at putting our sounds together to read mat, sat, sad, at and mad for our word time 1 session. Can you have a go at making these words at home?

We also enjoyed joining in with Harvest, and going on an autumn walk. Maybe you could spot signs of Autumn? We would love to see anything you could add to our display.

 

 

For this week, Mrs. Smith has set you a rolling task on Google Classroom.

 

Can we also ask for all children to practice putting on their coats and shoes on. With 26 children, it is very difficult to help them all.

If you haven’t please can all children have named wellies and a puddle suit or 2 peice waterproofs.
